PlainSight Security started with a simple complaint: every home camera on the market wants to be seen. White plastic domes on the bookshelf, lenses over the couch, a wire stapled down the siding. Some houses need that look. Most don't want it.

So we build cameras into the objects a home already has. A clock that is a clock, a charger that charges, a porch light that lights the porch, each with a camera where you'd never think to look for one. Your home keeps looking like your home, and you still know what happened in it while you were gone.

Two decisions define the catalog. First, every camera is video-only. Audio recording drags in wiretap laws that vary by state, and we'd rather sell you something that is clearly legal everywhere than something with an asterisk. Second, no subscriptions. Your footage lives on a memory card in your camera, not on a cloud you rent forever.
